Benetti will have three motor yachts among the finalist of the 2009 World Superyacht Award. The World Superyacht Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the superyacht industry.
The three Benetti Motor yachts are:
– Project FB239 a 60 meter called motor yacht Xanadu. She was launched in summer 2008 and will compete as best displacement Motor Yacht of 500GT to 1,299 GT; FB238.
– Motor yacht Platinum, 50 meter, will compete as Best displacement Motor Yacht of below 500 GT.
– Motor yacht Salu, a Benetti Tradition 100 footer, will compete as best semi-displacement Motor Yacht in the 100 to 130ft size range.
