Christensen Shipyard recently announced that its new project, Odessa is almost on the verge of completion. The 48.7m Odessa Odessa has a beam of 9m and a 2.36m draft. It is powered by two MTU 12V 4000 diesel engines, providing a top speed of 18 knots. The yacht also features composite, vacuum infused hull and superstructure and can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, which includes Owners Cabin, VIP cabin, and four guest cabins. The interior is made modern with minimalist style and woodwork completed in satin and black walnut which complements the custom stonework.

The yacht’s exterior styling is designed by Christensen’s own naval architects, and features a new forward raised shear and coaming. Odessa is the first Christensen yacht to feature a black hull and silver painted superstructure. Odessa is also built to ABS (Maltese Cross) A1-AMS & MCA Unlimited Cruising compliance.

The Christensen Shipyard consists of over 180,000 square feet of climate controlled manufacturing space and is also equipped with a seven-acre marina, which provides the most appropriate environment for yacht manufacturing.

Odessa will be displayed at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
