News: 74m Superyacht Mogambo Hull 782 Launched by Nobiskrug Yachts Of Germany

The finished hull of the yacht Mogambo ran smoothly into the River Eider on the 30th of March 2010 at the Nobiskrug Yard. The German shipbuilding company launched the newly finished hull of their 74m motor yacht Mogambo – hull number 782.

Nobiskrug launches superyacht Mogambo is to remain at Nobiskrug’s pier in Germany after which the yacht will be transported into the large 160 m superyacht hall. Here she will recieve her full interior outfitting and the filling and final top-coating of the hull and superstructure.

Delivery to the yacht owner is planned for later in 2011, after motor yacht Mogambo’s sea trials and testing. Nobiskrug Yachts is currently building five significant mega yachts and has already launched yacht such as motor yachts Triple Seven and SIREN.

During yacht Mogambo’s launching ceremony an old tradition was followed consisting of the serving up of a good hearty soup in the shipbuilding hall for all the employees and subcontractors involved in the new build. Nobiskrug’s Managing Directors and the Project Manager, Mr Mark Velthaus, as well as the Owner’s Representative expressed their thanks for the trustful and successful cooperation in the building of the yacht.
