The 85m Feadship motor yacht ECSTASEA has been sold in June 2009 by Merle Wood yacht brokers at a confidential price.
The Feadship motor yacht ECSTASEA, at 85.95 metres (281.99 ft) in length, is one of the largest luxury yacht in the world. Launched in May 2004 the huge mega yacht is famous for being owned and built by owner Roman Abramovich. Abramovich is one of the world’s most significant ‘patrons’ of superyachts, also owning the world’s newly largest yacht ECLIPSE as well as Pelorus (377ft), Sussurro (161ft) and Le Grand Blu.
Yacht ECSTASY was built in Holland with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure by Feadship Yacht builders -a member Royal Van Lent & Zonen – and launched in De Kaag.
The mega yacht had her unique and innovative exterior design created by the teamwork of Terence Disdale and De Voogt Naval Architects, with Disdale also responsible for the yacht’s Asian style interior design.
