A new 37 m sailling yacht BLISS, designed by Dubois Naval Architects and constructed by Yachting Developments will soon be launched from the shipyard’s facility at the Hobsonville facility at Auckland. Supposed to be the Southern Hemisphere’s largest composite sloop, the 37 m fast cruising yacht will be one of the finest yachts built in its category in the recent times.

Sailling yacht BLISS makes a perfect blend of comfort, style and speed, making it suitable for both racing as well as luxury chartering. The yacht’s 48.3 meter carbon fiber mast and furling boom is made by the Hall Spars NZ, whereas the suit of the yacht’s latest generation stratis sails, the first one with a new membrane forming equipment, is made by the Doyle Sails NZ.

A contemporary yacht with modern traits, sailling yacht BLISS’s interiors have been done by the UK based Design Unlimited. The luxurious, spacious and striking interior design features custom glass pieces, specialist paint finishes with texture leather and shagreen wrapped panels. Moreover, the cabins are so designed that they are comfortable during chartering as well as racing.

Sailling yacht BLISS also features double berths in the port and starboard guest cabins, which can also be converted into twin berths. Both the cabins also feature a Pullman berth. Moreover, the spacious master cabin can be partitioned to create a smaller master cabin plus a twin bunk cabin arrangement. The cabin also features ensuite his and her bathroom, which when partitioned become an ensuite for the master and an ensuite for the bunk cabin.

The whole project, from the start till the end, has been overlooked by Waddilove yachts who have guided the project through design selection, yard tendering and overseeing build. The yacht will be put up around the east coast of Australia and New Zealand, for the first few months and then it will head on to the South Pacific for a Season of Chartering.
