In a recent launching event, Aadaptive Technologies unveiled their new line of marine PC’s, under the guidance of Mr Gary Wright. The new line of PC’s have been designed and made for the most advance and demanding integration needs. Moreover, the elite pc’s come with a maritime certification of recreational and commercial vessels.
Marine PC’s are also designed to reduce energy consumption, which helps in lowering electrical consumption and operating costs. This feature has been made possible by using the latest technology in the PC platform, without sacrificing performance or operational functionality. The PC’s power saving technology uses 85% efficient power supplies and power management software.
For making the installation process easier, the computer has been provided with 4 serial ports, which are software configurable for RS232/422/485. The computer also features a frequency anti-vibration/ shock mount system. There are two types of marine PC models available – Elite IMO computer and Elite Computer.
The Elite Computer consists of a RAID1 controller, for demanding applications and dual video outputs to support multiple applications typically found in most bridge applications; Whereas, the Elite IMO computers are type approved and meet IACS unified requirement E20 and relevant sections of IES 60945 when installed with low frequency anti-vibration/ shock mounting kit.
