Admiral 42m Flagship Motor yacht launched

The new Admiral planning flagship of 42 m in length was launched few days ago by Admiral Yachts in Italy.

The Admiral 42m features a semi displacement, planning hull, which was built in light 5083 aluminium. The yacht’s design and styling distinguishes itself with clean and sleek lines and a dark blue hull as mixed with a clean light grey superstructure.

The superyacht’s with its performance is a healthy 30,5 knots maximum speed as powered by two MTU 3,650 HP engines. Strong seafaring capability is also a typical feature of Admiral Yachts and the 42 flagship is no different. The Mega yacht’s layout carries the signature of designer Luca Dini and boasts rich and innovative solutions.

While this launch was a technical pre launched the official launching ceremony and delivery to the Owner is set to be in a few weeks time after interior details are complete.

The traits of the Admiral 42 motor yacht bears some difference to that of the Admiral 40 meter MY ‘Aqva’ which was launched last Autumn..

Admiral also has a 44 meter motor yacht currently under construction with a stern hatch which opens as a platform over the sea. This offers a guest area on the sea for sunbathing or fitness and the superyacht’s garage, which holds the tender on one side, is equipped with a cart bridge for loading and launching it, and the central instrument holding mast which increases space on the sun deck.

The yacht was made under the surveillance of the American Bureau of Shipping to obtain the ‘Maltese Cross A1 C.Y.S., AMS’ certification.
