Aifos is a next generation, Hydro Tec designed superyacht that promises exceptional efficiency and high performance. A product of CBI Navi, it adheres to all the aspects of Sergio Cutolo’s Hydro Tec technical design.

Aifos is 50 meters long and is completely made of aluminum. It is a three deck, semi displacement motor yacht designed by Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates. Classified by DNV, it fully complies with MCA regulations.

The main feature of Aifos is that it is made up of a light 5083-alluminium alloy, which makes the yacht’s displacement just over 300 tons – which is way less when compared to yacht’s overall volume. This semi displacement design makes Aifos not only easy to steer but also efficient by ensuring stability even in the worst of situations.

The design also reduces the overall draft at the hull and thus reduces the fuel consumption. The propeller housed in the semi-tunnels, along with the semi-displacement design promises high speed and efficient fuel consumption/ speed ratio even in rough weathers.

A keel test in Krylov sea basin in St. Petersburg revealed limited vertical acceleration and less power, but an exceptional overall performance.

It has two MTU 16V 4000 M93 engines which generate around 2,720 kW each. This facilitates Aifos with a maximum speed of over 24 knots.

The yacht offers such high fuel efficiency that it will be able to sail consistently for 700 miles at 22 knots or 1800 miles at 12 knots before a need to refuel. In order to increase the stability, the motor yacht is provided with dynamic stabilizing system consisting of four stabilizing, non-retractile fins with mechanical actuator and an anchor.

Aifos accommodates 6 rooms with three double VIP rooms on the lower deck and two twin rooms on the main deck. The 6th room is a spectacular full beam suite on the upper deck.
