I have spent most of my life around boats and have sailed since the age of 6.

For the last 5 months have been skippering a new Oyster 65 based in Genoa. Prior to this skipper of a Choy Lee 65 in the Solent UK. I have done many deliveries, the most recent as mate/chef from Croatia to Panama taking just over 2 months. Prior to this I was first mate/chef on an 80ft yacht in the Caribbean. I have over 25,000nm (sail). I am a qualified yachtmaster and have a good understanding of diesel engines, generators and watermakers.

In the past I was racing crew on Cambria, 140ft classic yacht in Les Voiles D’Antibes Regatta – J Class, which we won.

I have also helped to build and crew on a 60ft racing catamaran in New Zealand.

My strengths are: I have a professional manner and am able to stay calm under pressure and to use my initiative. I have a friendly approachable manner, a good sense of humour and integrate well. I am competent, reliable, honest, a good cook, have a positive attitude, able to take on responsibility.
