The first Amer 116 superyacht was launched at this year’s Genoa International Boat Show. Amer 116 is built by the Permare Group and is the largest superyacht built by the group till date. The superyacht features three large staterooms with the master suite on the main deck and the two additional full beam guest staterooms on the lower deck. The main suite features impressive interiors with a large luxurious bathroom with a bathtub.
Usually a superyacht of its size would feature five staterooms, however Amer 116 has only three, which makes the yacht spacious and unique, interior wise. A special elevator connects all the three decks of the superyacht. A spacious living room is located on the main deck. The same level also has a dining room which is separated from the living room by means of the elevator and circular stairs. Just beside the dining space and connected to it is a fully equipped galley.
The uppermost deck of the yacht features a large wheelhouse at the aft, along with the elevator and surrounding stairs and a seating area and the bridge at the forward. The two cabins on the lower deck are dedicated for the three crew members that can be accommodated on the yacht. The interior of the yacht, designed by Stefano Tini of Perugia, features subtle and warm colors but also has a dash of shiny and mat mahogany. The panels are covered in leather, precious materials or light oak floora.
The exterior of the superyacht is done by the studio of Massimo Verme, Verme Projects. Amer 116 is built to RINA class and can reach a maximum speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. The engine room is fitted with twin 1,825hp Caterpillar C32 engines, which provides the spectacular speed. The yacht also features a spacious garage in the stern part.
