This time at the Monaco Yacht Show, Maritime Concept and Construction (MCC) will unveil two yachts, a 60m and a 33m version of their iconic Marco Polo transoceanic explorer series.

According to the sources, the 60m yacht project will be offered in a Diesel Electric Hybrid system which uses the latest Siemens technology. The yacht would also feature a conventional propulsion system having latest technology. The 46m model, which is currently in the making, will be displayed for the first time at a yacht show.

For everyone’s surprise, MCC chief designer Kasia Milewska and project manager Albrecht Buchnervisitors will be themselves present at the launch, so that the interested clients can discuss the yachts directly with them.

The very first Marco Polo yacht has been specifically built for long distance yachting journeys. The yacht provides utmost comfort for both, island hopping and coastal cruising and in port or at anchor stays. Moreover, extra stress has been provided on the yacht’s sea keeping, self-sustainability, comfort, safety and cost efficient operation of the yacht with refined operational systems.

The propulsion system of the yachts consists of a single Caterpillar 3512B main engine that delivers 1950 hp. The propulsion system provides the yacht with a cruising speed of 13 knots, with a range of 3.300nm. The yacht’s Schottle bow unit and stern thruster makes the navigation extremely smooth even in the thickest traffic.

The interiors of the yacht features an owner’s deck, with extravagant bedroom and bathroom. The sitting room on the bridge deck provides ultimate privacy, space and comfort. The yacht comprises of double/twin en suite cabins located on the lower deck, out of which one of has been arranged as a gym, but can be easily converted into a guest cabin if needed. The main deck of the yacht also features a large salon, a dining room and an extremely spacious galley.
