This will be the 42.6m metre Tripp designed sailing yacht Sarissa – she isnt due for delivery until 2011 and she still appears to have finishing and rigging to be done by Vitters.
Yacht Sarissa follows in the footsteps of Cindarella IV with a carbon composite hull built by Green Marine, a fit out by Vitters Shipyard and an interior designed by Rhoades Young.
For sailing yacht Sarissa, the emphasis of weight control has been pushed even further with the use of Nomex core for the structure and simpler, lighter systems. — all in view of a busier racing schedule.
Composite rigging, lifting keel and lightweight construction are all part of the now classic set up enjoyed by the vast majority of our cruising boat designs.
