Michael is a qualified Captain certificated to command large luxury yachts up to 3000 tons. Both are members of the British Guild of Travel Writers. The couple have written several books mostly about yachts, yachting and survival at sea specifically for the large yacht market, namely: The Grab Bag Book, The Sea Survival Manual, Bridge Procedures Guide for Large Yachts and the Professional Yacht Log Book, the only log book specifically created for use by professional yacht crews on large yachts. They have been travelling together for the last thirty years initially working aboard cruise liners then as crew aboard luxury private and charter yachts as well as in their own sailboat. Their voyages of discovery have taken them to Africa North and South America, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, India and plenty of islands in between with such variety as to include Tristan de Cunha, St Helena and the Maldive Islands.

Such a shame that such a beautiful boat with such a great heritage has been flagged out to cheap FOC with cheap crew and even plastic garden furniture on deck. surely if you cannot afford to run it you should not have bought it in the first place

Sorry I cannot find several. How about Sultan Marine currently building Great Nautilus a 49 metre three masted Superyacht in Turkey near Bodrum. I could not see Cobra Yachts also of the same area. They have just finished the rather splendid Maisha which we reviewed in SuperYacht World magazine. Devonport no longer builds yachts
