53 METER BAGLIETTO M/Y BARAKA
On Thursday, 21 May 2009 Cantieri Navali Baglietto, a world leader in the construction of superyachts, is proud to announce that on Saturday 25th April hull number C. 10206 was launched at La Spezia shipyard, Italy.
The 53 meter steel and aluminium displacement motor yacht has been christened Baraka.
The yacht is the third example of the series of 53-meter displacement motor-yachts, the first example being Blue Scorpion.
Baraka has been built to conform to the requirements of Lloyds Register. The superyacht has a maximum cruising speed of 17 knots thanks to propulsion of 5540 cv.
The yacht has been designed and built to Baglietto’s high standards of elegance and comfort and the skilled craftsmen of the shipyard have ensured excellent quality.
The elegant exterior profile is highlighted by the Flag Blue colour finish on the hull and the Snow White Awlgrip of the superstructure.
The exterior profile was created by Paszkowski Design Studio. Designer Francesco Paszkowski has developed a brilliant, glamorous interior style, choosing precious woods such as whitened durmast for the furniture and wengé and Jerusalem Gold Stone for the floors, in line with the owner’s wishes.
Baraka’s interior accommodation offers a full-beam master suite with stunning sea views from two balconies. There is also a sun deck with a Jacuzzi and a fitness centre with a panoramic view.
A glass and stainless steel panoramic lift allows the sun’s rays to filter through, like a skylight – one example of the many innovations aboard.
