Superyacht Natori has been in STP since the end of November. Absolute Boat Care began work on board on the 1st December 2013.
‘Having worked with Natori since she was fresh out the box in 2009, completing her annual anti foul, varnish, polish and paint repairs over the years, it has been a great pleasure to work with her this winter on her major paint project. We had around 18 staff members working on the yacht and 6 or 7 more in the workshop, behind the scenes prepping, filling and faring etc. The final work has taken place during this last month, completing the paint job and polishing the areas not re finished using GTecniq products and applying Permanon to the entire vessel to ensure the paint stays looking perfect for the maximum amount of time.’
Along side the Natori yacht project, Absolute Boat Care also ran several other major winter projects and around fifteen projects were taking place at any one time over the winter.
ABC worked along side Master Yachts, Natori superyacht’s management company, during the super yacht finishing project. Adrian from Master Yachts states: ‘We have worked with Absolute Boat Care for many years with Natori, we were confident they could achieve the desired results with the major paint job on the yacht over the winter. It was a big project and we are all very happy with the finish. The second stage will be completed after Natori has finished her season.’
