Alfa Romeo II, a 29.87m superyacht is reported to be sold by brokerage firm Bernard Gallay. Alfa Romeo II was constructed in 2005 under the supervision of the celebrated yachtsman Neville Crichton from Australia’s McConaghy Yard.

The builder has used GRP for building the entire vessel. The hull, superstructure and deck are built using glass-reinforced plastic. Thus while being lightweight, the yacht is highly composed even in the turbulent sea waters.

Alfa Romeo II consists of a beam of 5.18m, draft of 5.09m and a mast with a height of 44m. Reichel-Pugh was excellently crafted to win many races like the 2009 Sydney-Hobart where it surpassed the performance benchmark in the 2009 Transpac race.

This exclusive yacht is spacious enough to house a crew of 22 people. It is powered by an extra Yanmar Diesel engine allowing the owner to easily manage the system. While registering an asking price of € 3.495 million and a track record of several accolades for its stunning performances, Alfa Romeo II remains to a name well-etched in the world of sailing yachts.
