Sailing Yacht Valquest is a 135’ high performance sloop built by Bloemsma & Van Breemen shipyard and designed by Dubois Naval Architects. The yacht is entirely built in aluminum and has a fairly unusual low profiled streamlined deck house and a double steering to allow for constant control of the sails’ settings from both sides of the boat (dual head-stays).
The yacht is also equipped with Roll-away boom with captive winches for all sail handling systems and hydraulically operated running back stays. With a relatively high beam of 8.9 meters and a draught of 4.15 meters, the yacht guarantees amazing speed with equally noteworthy performance.
The yacht’s interior layout is conceived in compartments so as to ensure guests’ as well as crew’s privacy. There are two double cabins, along with a VIP cabin and a master cabin of generous dimensions. All the cabins are endowed with dark mahogany wood panel finishing. Moreover, the yacht also includes crew’s quarters consisting of six bunks, a galley with a saloon and a dedicated laundry
Superyacht Valquest is built to both Lloyds Register classification and the MCA large yacht code. It has two tenders, one located on the foredeck and the other in the aft peak. The tenders can be launched by a dedicated hydraulic crane housed in the deck locker. Apart from that, the yacht also has a 750 HP Caterpillar C18 engine for the propulsion system.
