The team of the Blohm + Voss, who introduced “B+V 110m/fast”, will soon be launching their second project, which is a 120 meter exploration yacht. A new entry to the list of custom yachts proposals, B+V 120 MY/X has both the competence to cruise across the globe, giving complete ease for the owner and 16 guests, and large areas to store the tools for exploration. The system of the propulsion plant is built to generate minimal noise and vibration levels without compromising on the degree of performance. Moreover, most importantly, the yacht also complies with the environment conservation norms by making use of the diesel-electrical propulsion technique, which supports 3 pod drives for attaining a maximum speed of 18.5 knots.
The ‘eye-shaped’ area of the yacht’s main deck comprises of the main entrance lobby, an impressive staircase and a lift which takes you to the Bridge Deck. A lounge area featuring seating arrangement with remarkable 180 degrees views is on the top of the deck in the rear premise of the Bridge Deck. Below this level, the floor consists of the owner’s deck with a spacious duplex owner’s cabin coupled with the owner’s room on the guest’s deck through a private staircase. This enables the owner to view the outside world not only from the bedroom but also from the two bathrooms which are positioned on either sides of the gym, behind the massage room. Moving downwards from the owner’s staircase, there is a saloon which is specially designed for the owner overlooking the exterior deck and giving direct access to the Jacuzzi in the bow area. The Blohm + Voss also aim to design a large office like area for the purpose of arranging meetings in the same premise for the owner.
There are 6 guest’s cabins on the main deck and 2 VIP duplex suites in total. Each of duplex rooms have bedroom on Guest Deck and dressing room and bathroom at the deck above this one. The company also has made dining and lounge areas on the Guest Deck with balconies on each side. Moreover, there is also a vast area surrounding the swimming pool also, an excellent place for arranging parties. They have also ensured to design the service areas and service corridors sufficiently distant from the owner and Guest areas. A large beach club of two levels is also available giving access to bathing platforms. This water level area offers guests a very peaceful and pleasurable ambiance.
The superstructure of the super yacht will be equipped to make room for storing an 8.50 m submarine besides tenders, which are 5,5m to 16m long, an amphibian car and a seaplane. Constructed with 2 individual heliports this yacht is expected to give highest aviation comfort. The main area of helicopter landing is situated in the aft zone of the owner’s deck and is well built to hold a weight of 5 ton. The lower level has a complete enclosed hangar for sheltering one helicopter. But a second helicopter landing premise is also designed in the front part of the Guest Deck, giving direct entry to guest areas and making the whole project the most beautiful and flawless creation is the view of overlooking the sea at a height of 8.50m ahead of the bow, which the guests will also be able to enjoy.
