The 92 meter German built Blohm & Voss Mayan Queen IV (project Safari) is one of the most significant yachts in the world and is at present the 14th largest private superyacht.

Luxury motor yacht Mayan Queen IV was designed by Tim Heywood for a Mexican owner who previously owned a Feadship yacht.

The motor yacht’s hull is painted in two different tones of grey/silver and the 72m Heywood designed motor yacht Kogo was also like this.

After the launch of the 123 meter yacht A (project Sigma / SF 99) in January, Mayan Queen IV is the second yacht in a new series of contracts for Blohm & Voss since the ceasation of superyacht construction in the early nineties.

The next Blohm & Voss super yacht will be the 94 meter hull 971 in 2009, followed by the 162 meter Eclipse in 2010.
