BWA Yachting Provides Services in Malta

BWA Yachting has recently revealed that it will soon set up a new office on the island of Malta. BWA Yachting has been a global pioneer in concierge and marine agency services to the super yacht industry. The Maltese Islands located in the central hub of the Mediterranean a little south of Sicily has been the perfect spot for ancient and contemporary seafarers for several years. The new partners will be welcomed by BWA officially at an event on 27th March 2010 with local authorities and industry professionals.

BWA Yachting – Malta is situated in Birgu, within the Medieval Treasury offices utilized more than 500 years ago by the knights of St. John and afterwards by Napoleon. The offices are positioned within the latest marina service in Malta, with moorings situated directly beneath the 1000 year old bastion walls of Fort St. Angelo. This is right next to a panoramic waterfront promenade providing with excellent dining options, in one of the most attractive natural harbors, the Grand Harbor.

BWA Yachting is headquartered in Lugano. It has its branches in Spain, the South of France, Monaco, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey, the Caribbean, and in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida which serves the USA. Italy and Greece are other places which receive the services of this company via its Associate Partners of Luise Associates, JLT Yacht Agency, and A1 Yacht Trade Consortium.

According to Stefano Tositti, CEO of BWA Yachting, Malta provides a complete collection of international marine services and amenities which covers duty free bunkering. The team is delighted to open this newest BWA office with Managing Partners Edward Woods and Shawn Spiteri Duca. BWA Yachting will be able to offer supreme quality services and assistance to yachts in Malta by using the many years of yachting and management knowledge as well as their rich local knowledge regarding the island.

The Managing Partner of BWA Yachting in Malta – Edward Woods believes that the prospect of the Maltese marine industry is one of the grave concerns for the industry. They are more than glad to have BWA Yachting to Malta because it promises a brighter future for the country as well as the marine industry.

The regional yachting sector on this island is expected to grow tremendously with the existence of BWA Yachting in Malta. Perhaps it will encourage the participation of superyachts too while creating a picture of Malta on the global map of the industry. This office will channelize all the efforts to address the matter of yacht promotion and marketing for Maltese islands. It will let the company extend its services to others like it does to the rest of the Med and beyond.
