Discovery Yachts have announced the appointment of Mark Williams as Sales Executive in a newly created position which will enhance the Sales Team of this manufacturer of bespoke bluewater sailing yachts.
Mark is a keen yachtsman who began sailing Scorpion dinghies as a child with his father and has extensive cruising experience as well as being a keen Round the Island racer. Mark’s love of sailing continued during his time at Southampton Institute where he delivered the Young Skippers Scheme as part of the RYA Centre within the Institute.
Mark also brings a wealth of sales experience to the Discovery Yachts team having spent the past 10 years selling luxury cruising yachts in the UK. Mark’s appointment has been made as a result of the strong sales demand for Discovery’s range of luxury blue-water yachts.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Waterhouse, Sales Director of Discovery Yachts said, “We are delighted to be strengthening the Discovery Yachts Sales Team with the appointment of Mark Williams, who is a keen sailor with a sound knowledge of yacht sales and extensive experience with cruising yachts.”
Discovery Yachts currently employs over 100 people at its modern manufacturing site in Marchwood, Hampshire where it builds its award winning range of Blue Water luxury yachts.
