Eco-friendly hybrid yacht : Solar Powered Code X

Solar powered Code X, is a hybrid motor cruiser designed by the Switzerland based company Code X. This catamaran combines renewable energy with high speed racing engine power to deliver the fastest eco-friendly yacht ever.

The futuristic design of Code X goes best with 2 high powered ilmor marine V10 formula 1 engines which are capable of producing 710 HP output, The high speed engines are complimented by a set of solar cells with lithium ion batteries which serves as storage device. This hybrid system allows the yacht to sail at a top speed of 9 knots. The yacht engines provides a torque of 882 Nm with 4800 revolutions per minute and a full throttle range of 5400 to 6300 revolutions per minute. It has3, 2 * 8 capacity fuel tanks.

Code X is a sumptuous environmentally friendly yacht with features such as carbon fiber hull, hot tub and a canopy covering its rear swimming pool. With overall length of 47 foot,it is supposed to be known as one of the finest eco-friendly yacht ever designed. It is also fitted with a LED touch screen control panel which can regulate the solar power system, GPS virtual anchor system and even the electric engines. The user friendly interface helps in easy maneuvering even in the roughest seas. The deck of Code X is made up of ultraviolet resistant material which makes the interiors heat proof.
Code X ’s exterior polished design and solar hybrid propulsion system definitely makes it suitable for the rich eco-conscious people.
