One of a wonderful places to visit while chartering a yacht in Phuket is Phang Nga Bay, a national marine park and an area of beautiful unspoiled scenery. Sailing here is safe all year round and most yacht charterers spend two or three days exploring the towering limestone islands of Ko Phanak and Koh Hong with their many caves and ‘Hongs’ to discover. For those in love with snorkelling, there is Koh Dam Group, otherwise known as the Chicken Islands. The snorkelling here is excellent with a number of coral reefs to explore.
SIMILAN & SURIN ISLANDS
Located about 34 miles off the west coast of Thailand, Similan and Surin Islands are one of the world’s best dive destinations. The water around this marine park is teeming with fish amongst the surrounding coral.
LANGKAWI IN MALAYSIA
Situated a short distance south of Phuket, Langkawi is a tranquil charter destination of 99 primarily uninhabited islands, with pristine beaches and lush rainforest-covered mountains. Langkawi is a perfect place for nature lover and adventurous spirits.
