A stylish new marina facility promising the ultimate docking experience for superyachts up to 300 feet long has just opened in San Diego’s downtown area – it’s called Fifth Avenue Landing. The marina boasts 12 high quality yacht berth – each offering a concierge service. The facility is convenient in that it is close to local attractions and top hotels.
Fifth Avenue Landing is a superyacht facility which welcomes luxury yachts between the length of 65 to 300 feet – this is very large for a private yacht!.
Fifth Avenue Landing is located near the San Diego Convention Center and the marina is part of San Diego’s bid to become the boating capital of the West Coast and California. Numerous other marinas have sprung up amid the increasing interest in the city, with Kona Kai Marina, Shelter Island Marina, and The Wharf, among some of the most notable developments.
The San Diego Superyacht Association was formed in 2008 to bring together the city’s leading marine businesses and cater to the megayacht market and the 225 ft Feadship motor yacht called Attessa already spent several weeks at the facility this year.
These days, San Diego is buzzing with superyacht designers, builders, and brokers, and it now has plenty of facilities to accommodate the industry.
