From Monday 14 November, at Amsterdam’s RAI convention centre, over 450 industry leaders will participate in the Global Superyacht Forum (GSF) for three days of powerful discussion, dynamic debate and intelligent interaction.

The focus of GSF, which is hosted by Superyacht Events, part of The Superyacht Group, will be discussing how to change the industry and how it can grow for the future.

Figureheads due to take to the stage are well-informed and ready to challenge the issues that need to change. Speakers include Henk de Vries from Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw, Hein Velema from Fraser Yachts and Carlos Vidueira at Rybovich Superyacht Marina & Refit. These experienced business leaders will form the opening panel on day one to discuss the statistics, facts, and the reality of how their respective business sectors are performing.

GSF also welcomes Guido Krass, at Hanseatic Marine and Mohammed Al Barwani from Oceanco Shipyards who will speak on the essential topic of ownership. They ask, what do owners really care about, and how can we better serve their needs?

The finale to the forum will see Sietse Koopmans, investor and owner, take to the stage for GSF’s new ‘Armchair interview’ – a personal and candid interview with a superyacht owner.  This session will allow the audience to learn about his experiences, his views, alongside anecdotal stories of his life as an owner.

These and more speakers will be sharing their expertise at GSF. To find out the full list of speakers and programme details go to http://www.superyachtevents.com/gsf/gsf2011/

Martin Redmayne, Chairman of The Superyacht Group said:
“GSF will give everyone in attendance the opportunity to have their say on what needs to change and how we can build a bigger, better and more sustainable superyacht industry.”

Georgina Lucey, Events Director at Superyacht Events said:
“For the 17th year running GSF will provide the unique opportunity to spend valuable time with the leading builders, brokers, managers, lawyers, owner representatives and build captains who are actively involved in some of the major new projects currently under discussion or at contract stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to stay ahead and informed of what is really happening in the market.”
