With the passage of time, there is a growing concern for conservation of environment observed amongst several yacht builders and yacht associations. One such designer is Heather Witkop who has come up with a plan of a 145-foot yacht, named the Aliz yacht, which will feature solar panels to suffice its requirement for fuel.

This luxury green yacht also consists of a master cabin with 180 degrees of view, a lounge in the exteriors, wet bar and grill area along with the lounge/dining area on the main deck with a waterfall. Almost 12 guests can sleep in the yacht which maintains a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Yacht Aliz is also installed with a hydraulic elevator and as a garden varying with each of the decks, making the ambience more vibrant. An interesting aspect of Aliz is a river flowing through the upper deck, which also has a bar and lounge for the entertainment of the guests. This initiative of Heather Witkop is sure to support the sailing society in going green for environment conservation.
