Sailing Yacht Independence (photograph above) is a 53m (173.9 feet) luxury yacht which was launched in 1998 by Perini Navi in Italy. Perini Navi formulated her naval architecture. The interior design theme came from Budd Baty. The material steel was employed to fabricate the superyacht hull. The boat’s hull has a maximum beam in metres measuring 11.43 (37.5 feet) and a maximum draft in metres measures 8.29 (27.2 ft). Structurally aluminium was used for the construction of her superstructure.

Independence can move at a cruising speed of 13 knots giving a navigable range in normal weather conditions of around 4000 nautical miles. 43000 – lt is the maximum bunkering storage limit providing the range.
