The International Paint team, a part of the Akzo Nobel Group launched their new anti-fouling paint Trilux 33 at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Specially made with for the yachting market , the Trilux 33 will be available in an improved and wide range of colors. The paint will not only improve the aesthetic aspect of the vessel but would also act as a strong anti fouling agent due to its high performance antifouling feature formulated with Biolux® Technology and a lower VOC content. The low Voc content would also ensure slower solvent emission and thus comply with the IMO convention on the control of harmful antifouling systems on ships.
The paint is made to suit all types of construction materials including aluminum. The special slow polishing formulation would avoid paint form building up and thus deliver long term fouling protection for up to 18 months.
The company is also coming up with their new interior product range which would include upgraded versions of their products launched last year, Interior Primer 860 and Interior Finish 750.
