There are a few yachts in the yachting world which are head and shoulders above the rest. One such superyacht is sailing yacht MIRABELLA V, the largest single masted yacht in the world.

Sailing yacht MIRABELLA V, the single mast super sloop became a reality in May 2004. She was launched in November 2003 and her mast was stepped six weeks later. She proceeded to the Mediterranean in June and completed five weeks charter in her first season.

Yacht Mirabella V has an overall length of 75.22m (247 ft) with a Beam of 14.80m (48.5 ft) and a Draught of (Keel Up) 4.0m (13 ft). She has a Displacement of 765 tonnes and a Mast Height of 88.5m (292ft).

The yacht was built by VT Shipbuilding, under the Project Manager Paul Johnson MDC . Her naval architecture and interior designer of the yacht is from the same, Irish-based, New Zealand-born yacht-designer Ron Holland.

Moreover, the Composite Engineering of the yacht is provided by High Modulus and the sails by Doyle Sailmakers. The Main Sail – Segmented Battened Panels measures 1557m². The yacht is built to DNV, and is Germanischer Lloyds and MCA compliant.

A revolutionary blend of innovative design and advanced technology, the super yacht presented unique challenges to the leading designers and engineers involved in her creation.A Performance yacht, Mirabella is made with a special emphasis on windward capability with a speed exceeding 20 knots under sail.

Seventy five meters in length, the luxury sailing yacht offers all the space and accommodation of a large motor yacht. It features a full beam owner’s main suite, with separate dressing areas and bathrooms. Moreover, the yacht also consists of six beautifully appointed staterooms which can accommodate a total of twelve charter guests. Each stateroom flaunts a large windows, full size en-suite bathrooms, a satellite TV with surround sound, DVD and complete audio systems.Some additional salient features includes the choice of dining on the sky deck, a covered cockpit , a formally arranged main dining room – which can accommodate a total of 12 to 20 guests.

Entertainment and recreational features include an open theater with a large projection screen which facilitates the guests to watch films under the stars. Though in the open space, the theater provides a full surround sound system with wireless headphones. One more large surround sound projection screen is situated in the yacht’s main saloon. Also, the yacht’s Master suite on the main deck consists of adjoining study and ensuite his and hers bathrooms. Also, Four double cabins and two twin cabins are located below deck.

There is no dearth of recreational water activities on the yacht. The Jacuzzi and a dip pool are located on the yacht’s foredeck. The yacht’s water ‘toys’ include a 29’ Hinckley Picnic Boat,snorkeling, scuba dive, and water ski equipment, 4 Laser sailing dinghies, personal water-craft, kayaks, and remote control sailing models of Mirabella V.Moreover, a gymnasium and sauna are located on the yacht’s lower deck.

Sailig yacht MIRABELLA V offers the guests the pleasures of being under full sail, in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean waterways.The yacht is available for charter Summers in the Mediterranean, and Winters in the Caribbean.
