Maison&Objet,Paris is one exclusive show which is attended by some of the biggest designers of the world every year. The event is held twice a year for five days, showcasing the upcoming designs in various extraordinary categories of ethnic chic, tableware, textiles, an arts and crafts workshop, interior decoration, accessories.
However, this time many firms present there belonged to the superyacht industry.Well known names such as Loro Piana, Baccarat and Christofle well also present there.
One of the spectators at the show was Jamie Horton from Harlequin, who had been attending the show for the last 11 years continuously. According to him, the show is perfect way of gathering new thoughts and ideas for the succeeding occasion. Unfortunately, the current year consisted of less new products than usual because of the risk-averse manufacturers who maintained lesser investments.
However, on the flip side, there are many smaller firms who are making more efforts to cater to larger customer segment. He also added that there were few remarkable new products which are bound to be there on yachts that are to be launched during 2010. It is reported that the next Maison&Objet show will be organized in the week of 3rd-7th September of 2010.
