Madrid – 21.06.09 – Reportedly the super yacht Marama designed by the Setzer Design Group is one of the finalists for the 2010 Super Yachts Awards.

With the popular appreciation growing day by day for the designer and luxurious super yacht all over the world the manufacturers all over the world are coming up with new models catering to various requirements of the users. At the same time they also have set up healthy competition by participating in various competitions giving away awards of various kinds. Setzer incidentally has always been one of the leading contenders for such awards, especially the World Super Yachts Awards. No wonder that they are eyeing another award in 2010.

“Marama – Fijan for ‘lady’ — is a full-displacement expedition yacht built by Delta Marine in 2008. Marama was designed and built to an extreme seaworthy criterion permitting her to take on all the challenges of the South Pacific where she’s spent most of her time” says the CEO of Setzer.
”A robust and seaworthy superyacht, Marama features elegant styling with a mahogany interior reminiscent of classic sailing yachts. With her 23,600-gallon fuel capacity Maraca’s range – 9,200 nautical miles — exceeds virtually any yachts of similar size, according to Delta Marine”, he went on to say.

This year the winner of the World Super Yachts Awards was announced on the 16th May, 2009 at the legendary Guildhall in London.

Elegant styles and an excellent mahogany interior make the Marama a reminiscent of classic sailing Yachts of the past.

Setzer was founded by Yacht architect Ward Setzer in 1991; the Setzer Design Groups have so far grabbed eight international awards of the super yacht society. In addition they have also won multiple show boat awards as well. The company has been able to make its own distinguished place in the designing of super yachts.
