The 240 feet Annaliesse is one of the biggest mega yachts in the world. A huge yacht with a sleek hull, Annaliesse is a yacht with the highest guest carrying capacity. The yacht has a beam of 14.44 m and a draft of 4.15 meter. It was built by the Neorion Shipyard in Greece in the year 2004. The interior and exterior of the yacht has been done by Alpha Marine and H. Poulias.

The mega yacht features a Steel hull and superstructure with an Aluminum deck house. The yacht also carries classifications such as SOLAS Passenger Vessel, Det Norske Veritas and Class Notation 1 A1. The access to the yacht is provided via passarelle or the wide, teak swimming platform. There are five spectacular decks on the yacht, which accommodates 36 guests in 18 stateroom, all provided with ensuite bathrooms. The 18 staterooms comprises of a double master suite and a double VIP suite, along with 8 double staterooms and 8 twin staterooms.

The thirty six guests are looked after by thirty four crew members within 2,400 square meters of guest space. The sun deck, which is 21 meters above the sea level and can be reached only by a lift, provides privacy, intimacy and spectacular views. The yacht’s helipad can also be converted into a circular sunbathing terrace, at one end and a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunbeds, at the other end. A large bar on the same deck, serves anything from a cold drink to a hot buffet-24 hours a day.

For Recreational activities, the yacht has four wave-runners, two tenders and a garage full of leisure equipments, including a fully equipped diving center. At night the bridge deck can be transformed into a dimmed lights area or illuminated with candle lights on starched white table linen for dinner or parties.

The yacht’s master suite is 122 sq m in length and features superior California King sized bed, 180° panoramic windows with remote controlled curtain with an access to a private deck. Facing the bed is a retractable 42” plasma television/DVD with Creston control console. Moreover, the ensuite master bathroom is finished entirely in pure white Afion marble and has a double Jacuzzi bath, two basins, two separate WCs and bidets, a separate shower and two walk in closets. The suite also has a subsidiary twin stateroom 23 sq m (248 sq ft) with en-suite bathroom for children or personal staff, along with a fully equipped study.

The 45 sq m (484 sq ft) VIP stateroom is on the bridge deck and includes a sitting room with a 42” plasma television and a large sofa that converts into a double bed. The superior king size bed faces a flat screen plasma television. Apart from this, there is a separate plasma television in the sitting room. The ensuite bathroom is finished in Michelangelo marble with a Jacuzzi bath, twin basins, large shower room and separate WC and bidet.

There are in total 10 staterooms, with each provided with a mini suite featuring a super king sized bed (or large singles), tilting flat screen LCD linked to satellite TV, DVD, CD and radio, writing desk with direct dial telephone links and internet/email connection. All these staterooms have hand made carpets, silk curtains, a sofa, walk in closets and large bathroom with bath, shower and separate WC, bidet and twin basins. The ensuite bathrooms are finished in large pieces of marbles with each basin made out of a single slab.

Moreover, all staterooms have sophisticated lighting systems with individual controls in both bedroom and bathroom. The 5 menu system allows different levels and locations from full to nighttime lighting. Additionally, the door between the bed and bathroom is illuminated by a fiber optic light that moves through different light spectrum.

Machinery and Communication system

The propulsion system of the yacht consists of two 2.750 hp Caterpillar 3606 engines, which provide the yacht with a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots, with a range of 7,000 nautical miles at 14 knots.

Other engine room machinery consists of 2 TEMAK desalination plants producing 40.000 liters per day, 2 KaMeWa variable pitch propellers, three 500 kW Caterpillar 3412 generators, Fincantieri retractable type stabilizers and KaMeWa Tunnel bow thruster. The yacht also features a Poisedon SP bilge separator.

For communication, the yacht has systems such as SatCom, cellular, VHF, UHF, SSB, digital PBX with ISDN compatibility providing 80 lines/5 Inmarsat connections. The navigation is done by GMDSS, VDR, AIS, Inmarsat C, Fleet 77 Fully automatic joystick operation, 2 ARPA radars.

Entertainment

For entertainment and recreational activities, the yacht’s sundeck in endowed with a bar, barbecue and 8 Jacuzzis. The bridge deck consists of a Saloon with bar having two seating areas both provided with 42” plasma televisions, DVD and CD players, along with chess boards, card table and board games. The meeting room on the same deck is facilitated with Compaq laptop computers, internet and fax connection, HP color and b/w laser printer.

On the upper deck, there is a Library cum cinema with 100” screen, overhead projection and surround sound system. The main deck contains Saloon and dining room with bar, Yamaha grand piano, 51” Sony Wega Plasma television with surround sound, DVD and CD players. The lower deck of the yacht features a Health Centre with main indoor Jacuzzi, separate male and female studios with sauna, steam room, shower, WC and changing rooms.

The lower deck also features a Post treatment relaxation area, Hair/nail salon, massage room and a treatment room handled by two fully qualified beauty therapists. Other areas include Children’s play area/crèche, Gym with treadmill, multi-gym, bicycles, step and free weights.

For water sports, the yacht has two 7.8 m Special Craft tenders with Volvo 230 hp inboard KAD43, a 3.8 m RIB with 35hp outboard, four Yamaha XL 700hp Wave-runners, Laser sailing dinghy, water-skis, Kayaks, windsurfers, inflatables and tows, fishing tackle, PADI certified scuba diving equipment which includes 15 adult and 3 waterproof cameras and 2 scuba scooters. (Diving Center supported by 2 PC-Interface-Memo-Mouse-Data track Windows and 2 air compressors.)
