Lady Moura, a private mega yacht owned by a multi-millionaire businessman from Saudi Arabia, Nasser Al-Rashid, is one of the largest yachts in the world. With 344 feet (104.9 meters) in length, Lady Moura is massive, elegant and a sure shot head turner. Supposed to be known as a super luxurious vessel, Lady Moura can be easily recognized from her name and escutcheon carved in 24 carat gold. Since the start, Lady Moura has been owned by Nasser Al-Rashid, the founder of Rashid Engineering, who is also supposed to be an influential advisor to the Saudi royal family.

Mega Yacht Lady Moura has been designed by Blohm & Voss and was launched in the year 1990. The spectacular design has been made in conjunction with the Italian designer and architect Luigi Sturchio. Both, the broad hull and massive superstructure of the yacht are made of steel. However, like most other Arab Yachts, Lady Moura also has less open deck space to provide for a more spacious interior. Very less information is available of the lavish and extravagant interiors of the yacht due to security reasons. However, some of the salient features of the yacht include Mangusta 80, a beautiful boat for recreational activities, a 48 foot San Juan Sail Boat and a Sikorsky S76B helicopter.

The yacht’s propulsion system consists of a pair of KHD-MWM diesel engines that produce 5050 kilowatts of power and allows Lady Moura to reach a speed over 20 knots. Moreover, the some of the yacht’s important equipments consists of a hydraulic system, anchors, life rafts and navigational lanterns. All these equipments are very well tucked and hidden by elegant shell ports, doors, flaps, roofs, and covers. Also, a multitude of platforms, gangways and cranes provide the yacht an easy access to all parts of the yacht.

For water sports entertainment, the yacht’s garage is filled with a Boston Whaler, Ski Nautic boat, and Venetian Taxi. Apart from that, she also features a sand-covered, retractable platform that slides out from her side just above the water line to create a carry-along sandy beach for recreational activities.
