We like to inform you, that Moody will have a change in the brand leadership. Ben Vaes is leaving Moody, Tijl Hetterschijt is taking over.

Dutchman Ben Vaes, 48, worked for Moody since this brand was taken over by HanseGroup, Germany. Under his guidance Moody developed four new models. The 41/45 classic line, modern cruisers with a classic touch and look, as well as the decksalon line. These 45/62 yachts are outstanding in performance, look and interior layout.

Ben Vaes decided to leave Moody and the HanseGroup to take a creative break and prepare for a new venture in 2011. Vaes, who worked for Oyster before, is moving back to England with his family.

Tijl Hetterschijt, 41, a Dutchman as Vaes, is the new man on board of Moody. His position will be brand manager and he will be responsible for the worldwide dealer network and the further development of the Moody line.

He is not unknown in the HanseGroup. Hetterschijt has been a Hanse dealer from 1999 to

2008. He is a graduate economist, accident assessor and worked as yacht broker.

Tijl Hetterschijt has a lot of passion for classic and deck saloon yachts. Up to 2009 he worked for Wauquiez. He will start at 1st September 2010 and he will be located in Greifswald, home of HanseGroup.
