Motoryacht Reborn is soon to complete its amazing refitting and repair work at the Italian yard Amico & Co. Presently, the yacht is wrapped in scaffolding and veiled under a large white shelter. This 70.5m superyacht manufactured by Amels, was originally built in 1999. The superyacht underwent an ordinary refit in 2008 and is currently undergoing a detailed overhauling and internal redesigning process, which also includes changing the transom and developing a large swimming deck aft.
In addition to this, the designers will add two new flights of stairs on either side of the yacht. There will be a new swimming pool and sauna set up and a full repaint and brand new central lift fitted too. According to a project manager, the refitting of Reborn is done by one of the major schemes in the shipyard.
The captain of the Reborn asserted that a particular trouble for the yard in this project had been the rigorous timetable of the owner. Amico have to meet the deadlines of all the tasks as well as the demands of organizing the workers who are huge in number onboard the yacht. Maximum duration followed for this work is not more than nine months. This is particularly because the owner has to ensure that work is complete in the summer season in the Mediterranean.
