Nauta Yachts, the famous yacht designing company, which has done commendable jobs such as Southern Wind 100 and 110 series in the past, came out with a concept of a 44 meter sailing yacht to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The design team has now decided to use the same concept for making a 105 ft sailing yacht called Streamline 105.
Though the concept is that of a sailing yacht, it is made according to the contemporary design requirements with modern, smooth lines. The stylish deck of the yacht has been given the shape of a wave form, with smooth curves from the helm station to the mast.
The roof of the yacht has been made is a peculiar way using a semi-circular glass wedge. This glass is covered by non transparent lateral lines, which starts as coamings aft and then become the sides of the glass roof. These lateral lines also accommodate windows at regular intervals.
The glass support though sturdy, requires a surface support, which is provided by the transversal structure solution for extra visual neatness under deck. In order to make the yacht easy from functionality point of view, the design of the deck has been made on the same level from the aft cockpit to the main companionway. This not only makes the yachting experience easier but also provides a huge outdoor living area which features spacious dining, lounging and sunbathing area.
