New Year News From International Yacht Collection

With the beginning of the year 2010, the International Yacht Collection, USA have two motoryachts on their US central charter listing and recorded sales of three motoryacht including the in-house yacht from the Monaco office. The new additions to the Frank Grzeszczak and Chany Sabates III’s central lists include M/Y Lady Linda, which is one victorious beauty built by Trinity Yachts in 2006. The yacht is a 47.9m (157′) tri-deck and made up of an aluminum semi displacement hull and superstructure. The yacht designed by Evan Marshall can accommodate up to 10 guests. It provides the guests with a master, three double and a twin. The yacht can cruise at 18 knots and reach a top speed of 20 knots. From the three yachts sold, Lady Linda is one which is built to ABS class and MCA compliant.

M/Y Mostro, the second yacht reported to be sold with Kevin Bonnie from IYC Monaco, is in the Frank Grzeszczak and Chany Sabates III’s central listing. It is a 36.6m (120′) Palmer Johnson motoryacht with interiors styled by the popular Nuvolari & Lenard Designers. It was constructed in 2000 and renovated in 2006 with new interior and paint including a complete new galley. It is large enough to accommodate nine guests in four staterooms with up to four crew in two cabins. It can generate a maximum speed of 30 knots and cruise at 24 knots as it is powered by 2 MTU 12V4000.

The third yacht sold was the M/Y Katharine and features in the Mark Elliott’s central listing. Made in 2001, it is 53.95m (177′) long motoryacht. The Trinity yachts built this yacht in 2001 and invested $6 million in refitting the same. Being an elegant structure, it has room for 12 guests in six staterooms comprising of four kings and four singles and has crew of 12.

The new addition to the Mark Elliott’s central listing has been the M/Y Life’s Finest II. It is a GRP semi-displacement hull design with length of 40.20m (131′10″) and has a beam of 7.95m (26′). Life’s Finest II has been designed by the famous by Jack Sarin Naval Architects, Inc. and Robin Rose & Assoc and can house 10 guests with a crew of 5. The Northcoast Yachts constructed this yacht in 1995 with a power of 2 x 2400 HP DCC 16V 149 TA diesel engines. The yacht which can move at a top speed of 21 knots and cruise at 18 knots, with a range is 3,500 nm is spacious, elegant and comfortable. Currently her asking price is $7,750,000.00

Second addition to the Mark Elliott’s central listing was M/Y Penny Mea. The Richmond Yachts built this 43m (138′) long semi-displacement fiberglass yacht in 2004 and is built to the ABS standards and powered to 2 x 3512 Caterpillars that produce 2250hp each and allow the yacht to cruise at 12 knots with a maximum speed of 20 knots. It has a capacity to accommodate 12 guests in the six staterooms including a full beam Master suite, a bridge deck VIP suite, below deck two king bedded cabins aft, two twin bedded cabins forward. The Sun Deck is covered by large awning and commercial umbrellas and has a universal mounting system for holding tenders and toys. The yacht is installed with a Zero Speed Stabilizers installed and has been quoted at $14,900,000.00.

The International Yacht Collection has also reported of several yachts having won accolades and recognition for excellent performances at the 6th Annual MYBA St. Maarten Charter Show 2009. Atlantica, a first class charter yacht, was applauded with the honor of “Best Crew Service, Ambience and Table Setting”. In addition to this, Danny Escarment from M/Y El Jefe, charter fleet yacht, won third place in the 2009 Concours De Chefs competition at the show.
