Ocean Independence (OCI) recently announced that they have appointed Daphne d’Offay as CA charter manager of the newly relocated Fort Lauderdale office. With a strong charter background, D’Offay will be working on developing OCI’s US charter fleet as well as helping in maximizing charter potential for existing clients.
A South Florida native, D’Offay has worked as a stewardess for six years aboard private and charter yachts in the East Coast of the U.S, Bahamas and Caribbean as well as the Eastern Med, primarily Turkey and Greece. D’Offay has a bachelor’s of science degree in Occupational Therapy and has also worked in the healthcare industry for a few years. However, eventually she returned to the yachting industry.
Finally D’Offay has taken a break from constant traveling and has been provided with an opportunity to learn more about charter and sales in a brokerage environment of OCI.
