In a three day operation which started on 6 November 2009 Oceanco successfully launched the commanding 85.47m Mega Yacht hull Y705, now called Yacht SUNRAYS. This tailor-made Oceanco Superyacht has been built for owners who have approached the project with great enthusiasm.
Motor yacht SUNRAYS is based on the proven technical Oceanco Y700 platform. Her exterior is by Björn Johansson Design and her interior by Terence Disdale Design under the specific guidance of her owners. Not least because of her eye-catching teal coloured hull, Y705 is certain to stand out amongst the yachts in the Mediterranean this summer.
All exterior decks on SuperYacht SUNRAYS have been designed to include water features which blend perfectly with the beautifully curved superstructure. Built-in features, such as table tops concealed in the ceiling, make Y705 suitable for a variety of functions from an intimate dinner to a cocktail party.
Stepping inside, Yacht SUNRAYS you are impressed by the yacht’s multi functionality. The main deck holds a VIP cabin and four guest cabins which connect to each other. The large dining room can be converted into a video conference room with the optional use of the adjacent library. The standard foldable exterior bulwark assures guests an unrestricted view while dinner is served.
The yacht’s upper deck houses a Master suite with a pool balcony, while a VIP cabin and study room lies behind. Both rooms have foldable sea balconies and can also be connected with the Master suite, thus serving as one living area. Aft of the sleeping accommodation is a full beam lounge.
The bridge deck features a spa and lounge with bamboo finishing. The owners’ input is evident in the layout of the spa lounge which can also be converted into a movie theatre.
On the sun deck of Luxury Yacht SUNRAYS a semi enclosed air-conditioned bar, fully equipped with cooking facilities, separates the forward spa area from the aft sun-bed lounge deck.
Motor yacht Y705 is scheduled to be delivered in early 2010.
