The PA 122 by Oceanco is a 120m superyacht project which is very modern in design and styling by Nuvolari & Lenard and operates on a electric diesel hybrid propulsion system. The Oceanco PA122 motor yacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

Interestingly, to aft of the yacht’s angular superstructure there is an exterior glass elevator which rises from boat deck to the helicopter platform. Also, depending on the deck level, the elevator opens to both the yacht’s interior or exterior.

The Oceanco PA122 helicopter landing deck has an air-conditioned telescoping helicopter hangar and a certified helicopter landing area forward. The full ship’s bridge with 270 degree visibility is also situated here.

In fact, there is plenty of glass utilised for function and athletics in the Nuvolari & Lenard yacht design. For instance, as well as the elevator the luxury yacht design the bridge uses wings to aft to ease maneuvering, which are made of glass. This 120 metre Oceanco PA 122 superyacht design is large enough to comfortably accommodate 4 owners and 24 guests, as served by 43 crew members.

This Nuvolari & Lenard designed Oceanco PA122 yacht is large enough to give the feel of a real ship on the water and she has the stature and bearing of a major vessel. The superstructure forward areas of the yacht appear purposeful and able to great any ocean of the world.

Perhaps contrasting with this, in even in harmony with it, the yacht’s ultimate luxury prevails more toward her aft are. Here her superstructure is more of a vacation residence and the large swimming pool and open entertainment spaces on each of her desks reflect more of the established Oceanco luxury and style.

The PA122 superyacht holds a special focus on ecologically efficient hydrodynamics and propulsion systems. This ensures minimum fuel use and environmental impact. Accordingly, the Oceanco PA 122 is powered by a hybrid diesel/electric propulsion system which will give her greatly reduced emissions. She will be driven by four MTU Engines ranging from PTO/PTI and two E-Motors, capable of reaching around 21 knots.

Also on display recently at the Oceanco stand in Abu Dhabi was also the 110m Sam Sorgiovanni design (PA104) and the 120m (PA122) designed by Nuvolari & Lenard. All projects displayed the characteristics that distinguish Oceanco’s reputation for innovative design, smart engineering and advanced technology carefully tuned to the lifestyle of her owner.
