Sailing yacht Builders, Jongert, has recently launched the 42 meter sailing yacht called ‘Passe Partout’. S/Y ‘Passe Partout’ is the third flying bridge sailboat the Jongert yard has built for the same owner. She is named after the Jules Vernes character in “Around The World In Eighty Days”.

Jongert’s patented folding keel has been used in ‘Passe Partout’ which acts in reducing the sailing yacht’s draught depth from 5.3 meters down to 3.2 meters. Jongert claim that as a motor sailor she can be sailed easily in any condition yet also offers the interior and exterior space more like a motor yacht.

“Clear, classical lines and pure but fancy details” – is the description of the yacht’s interior design and Jongert are especially proud of the teak woodwork with smooth curves and integrated hand rails – a feature synonymous with Jongert. The flybridge doubles as a retreat for sunbathing or to gain a 360 degree vista view of the ocean.

She has a great lounge for relaxing and social get together in the roofed cockpit area. She also has external useable areas on the aft and foredeck complete the generous outside space of the yacht.

The sailing yacht’s main deck has been heightened so that guests can enjoy the panoramic view while sitting. The light and view is further enhanced by the yacht’s open gallery which connects the saloon with the bridge.

A full view can also be enjoyed through the saloon windows and, to maximise space and effort a hydraulic cocktail table can be transformed into a large dining table.

She boasts a very light saloon, spreading the breadth of the superyacht and located directly under the large flying bridge and for added privacy, the saloon and bridge can be separated with a partition, though the bridge, it is claimed, offers ample space to enjoy an aperitif or an appetizer.

Sailing yacht ‘Passe Partout’ has a lower deck which is divided into two separate parts – each with its own access. From the deckhouse, a spiral staircase leads down to the galley and the crew cabins. The Jongert designers these areas have more space than on sailing yachts of similar sizes.

The yacht’s Owner and guests however can reach their own premises from the aft ship.

The slightly heightened sleeping area of the owner’s suite is found via a step, seamed with handrails on both sides. It is equipped with two queen size beds framed by large “pirate windows” in the stern and the portholes sideways.

S/Y ‘Passe Partout’ has three guest cabins which are on both sides of the saloon. Her extra large beds in the two twin cabins can be converted into double beds and all three of them can accommodate a third person, when needed, in a retractable Pullman bunk bed.

Sailing yacht ‘Passe Partout’ is available for sale – along with her berth in Mallorca.
