The new Phillip Briand designed Vitruvius Explorer 73.3m motor yacht project is reported by SYNFO as being now contracted for the sale by Perini Navi Group.

The Vitruvius Explorer 73.3m motor yacht has a 13.3m beam, a 4m draft, and a gross tonnage of 1780 tonnes. Her range at her cruise speed of 12 knots is 7500 nautical miles. The Explorer (expedition) style motor yacht is to be built to Lloyd’s *100 AI SSC, Yacht, Mono G6 LMC UMS- and MCA Certification of Compliance with The Large Yacht Code, 2nd edition.

The new build superyacht project will be the latest installment in the Perini Navi Group’s Vitruvius line of motor yachts as designed by the famous sailing yacht designer Phillipe Briand.

Vitruvius Yachts currently has two new yacht under construction a 50m and 55m Explorer all designed by Philippe Briand.

The 73.3m Vitruvius yacht concept reduces drag and thus decreases fuel consumption, as well as state-of-the-art waste treatment systems, making her more environmentally friendly. This fits well with the yacht owner’s ecological interests and intention for long range exploration in remote areas. Also, she has diesel electric engines which reduce fuel consumption and noise levels as compared to traditional diesel engines.

The Vitruvius Explorer 73.3m Motor Yacht boasts a spa and hydrotherapy zones, meditation and yoga areas and relaxing private reading spaces. Interestingly, she also has a pottery room and kiln, so the owner’s and guests’ creative craft urges can be satisfied.
