Pershing Chairman Resigns

The resignation of Attilio Antonelli from Pershing S.p.A was as extremely disappointing news that surfaced on the yachting circle this year. Apparently, the refusal of the Board of Directors of Ferretti S.p.A for buying the offer received by them of 3rd February for its controlled company seems to have triggered this move.

The Board of Directors made this decision after studying the brand’s strategic value, the importance of the Mondolfo production facility and the technical and human value of the people working there. Consequently, this was expected to assist them in achieving the goals set down in the Industrial Plan for re-establishing the Group. Unfortunately, Attilio Antonelli was not in favor of this decision and so quit the company.

The Ferretti S.p.A. and Pershing S.p.A. Boards of Directors who respected Attilio’s decision are grateful to Tilli Antonelli for his work over the years. Chairman Norberto Ferretti and CEO Salvatore Basile, on behalf of the Group gave him best wishes for the future.
