After successful five years in the beautiful Pacific, motor yacht VvS1 is preparing to be shipped over to the Europe and continue with charter in the equally stunning, yet different charter destination, the Mediterranean. Built by Alloy Yachts in News Zealand, the stylish charter yacht VvS1 measures 34m (112ft) in LOA and sleeps 8 guests in 4 staterooms.

M/Y VvS1 is currently preparing for a paint job at Titan Yacht, after which she will be shipped over to the Northern Hemisphere in March. She will be cruising around the Eastern Mediterranean around late May and work her way back towards the Western Med.

VvS1 is scheduled to be in Gibraltar by the beginning of May, continuing across to the South of France for charter and then carrying on to Western Med to charter in Croatia and Greece.

Named after a term in grading of diamonds, VvS1 superyacht has been a true diamond of the Pacific herself. Launched in 2007, this aluminium built vessel has been design to perfection by Gregory C Marshall Naval Architects, with stunning interior created in collaboration between the Owner, Gregory C Marshall and the Alloy Yachts design office.

Her interior timber joinery is American white oak panels with white stain, and finished with the grain exposed and slightly raised. Wenge cabinetry is featured throughout the guest areas. The bamboo interior soles are laid in 90mm planks with wenge inlays and matt finished.

As mentioned above, accommodation on board charter yacht VvS1 is provided for eight guests in total in four stunning stateroom; these include the Master Suite forward on the main deck and three double guest cabins forward on the lower deck, all with en-suites. Crew quarters consist of three cabins aft on the lower deck and the Captain’s cabin and ships office on the bridge deck.

VvS1 yacht’s luxury saloon and dining area for eight guests can be found on the main deck. The galley is situated on the main deck between the dining room and aft deck dining area. Meals can be served directly to the interior or exterior servery bars forward and aft of the galley. A Teppanyaki bar is located on the fly bridge. Aft on the bridge deck is a full sized gymnasium and cinema. Diving equipment and compressor are located in the lazarette.

Luxury charter yacht VvS1 is fitted with active roll stabilisers and carries 34,000 litres of fuel. She cruises at 11 knots and has an extended range of 4300 nautical miles. Outside docking stations are located on her port and starboard bridge wings and a further station aft on the bridge deck. Fresh water storage capacity is 7,000 litres and is supplied by two water makers, which produce 13,000 litres per day.

Two tenders are stored on the bridge deck aft. One of these is 6.5 metres and powered by a 150hp outboard. Both tenders are launched from the bridge deck by the ship’s hydraulic crane.

Built to the specific requirements of her articulate and tasteful owner with charter in mind it is not only tasteful and unique but also practical for charter. It was styled with simplicity in mind with a vision for ultimate relaxation on board taking lean edges and soft colours to offset the avant garde exterior lines of the boat.

The 34m luxury superyacht VvS1 will be available around the Mediterranean at US$79,000.00 per week plus expenses, starting this spring. To learn more about this beautiful yacht, her crew and her voyages, please contact our friendly team for more information.

Luxury charter holidays in the Mediterranean offer an unparalleled selection of cultural heritage, combined with beauty, passion, glamour and style. There was a time when the Mediterranean was the centre of the known and civilised world and for yacht charterers, to some extent, it still is.

The sunny Mediterranean offers its visitors plenty of activities, places to visit and beaches to relax and unwind on. This popular European charter destination is conveniently split into two main areas; the Western Mediterranean and the Eastern Mediterranean. Both parts are culturally unique and are lipped with stunning beaches, hidden coves, majestic ports and luxury motor yachts as well as sailing yachts. Yachts of all sizes and shapes grace the Mediterranean.

This fabled yacht charter area provides the untamed extravagance of the French Riviera, the gravity-defying architecture of the Italian coasts, the unaffected charms of Croatia, the fragrant orange groves of Spain, the exotic lure of Turkey and Greece, the birthplace of civilization.

The Mediterranean is one of the largest yacht charter vacation grounds in the world and has an incredible choice of charter boats available. They include motor or sailing, bareboat charter or skippered, crewed yachts, catamaran, power boat, sailboat, luxury yachts and of course the ever increasing super yacht charter.
