Following on from the global success of its flagship, the Princess 40M superyacht Imperial Princess, the new 35M yacht will be a semi-custom motor yacht capable of cruising both at high and low speeds with an impressive long range and outstanding efficiency, while providing expansive deck areas and comfortable and spacious accommodation for owners, guests and up to six crew.

The M CLASS range of technically advanced and highly customisable yachts – which now includes the Princess 32M yacht, the new 35M and the World Superyacht Award-winning 40M – has stamped the Princess marque firmly on the 100ft-plus market, demonstrating the Company’s ability to design and build some of the most technically advanced superyachts and cementing its reputation as one of the world’s most experienced shipyards.

Offering a sizeable gross tonnage of 243gt, which is 25% larger than that of the 32M yacht, the new superyacht Princess 35M provides greater internal volume and, as a result, exceptionally generous accommodation, relaxation and entertainment areas throughout. The luxurious interior creates a significant sense of space and light and has been designed to ensure that the owner and their guests can maximize their use. The flexibility of the design also affords the owner the opportunity to choose from a number of different layouts.

An innovatively designed aft cockpit and transom area create an informal ‘Beach Club’ feel. Here a large seating area incorporates a combination of aft and forward facing seating, alongside which a bar can be fitted if required. Its versatility is a stand-out feature; the cockpit may be utilised either as a fun, open and informal leisure area but also can be easily transformed into a formal dining space.

Moving aft from the cockpit there is a hydraulically operated swimming platform and a further aft facing seat is integrated into the transom at this level. Launch and retrieval of a tender up to 5.65m or a wet bike up to 3.5m is done with exceptional ease and efficiency thanks to a specially designed “winch and runway” system.

The spacious flybridge incorporates the luxuries that would be expected with a yacht in this class; built-in or free-standing sunbeds, an optional spa bath, a large bar and a multiplicity of seating and arrangements for both formal and informal dining. The forward coachroof incorporates an attractive and spacious seating and sun lounging area, designed in such a way that crew do not need to pass through it when docking the boat.

The sense of space and light continues throughout the upper deck accommodation where a vast saloon with full height windows to both port and starboard can be enhanced with sliding doors and hydraulically folding balconies on either side. The serving area and professionally appointed galley are located forward of the saloon, incorporating modern facilities and adequate storage for extended cruising.

Forward of the main deck, the masterful full beam owner’s stateroom is entered via a versatile ante-room which can be specified as an office, private TV room, library or to suit the owner’s personal requirements. Luxurious panoramic windows, two walk-in wardrobes and, further forward, an elegant bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet facilities complete the owners suite.

On the lower deck the staterooms are also large and luxuriously appointed. A number of layout options are available; the standard arrangement is for three double staterooms, one or both forward staterooms can be supplied with single beds and these may have powered double bed conversions if required. Another layout allows for two double staterooms, giving a total of four guest staterooms. Crew quarters are also located forward on the lower deck, with three en-suite cabins providing comfortable accommodation.

The inspired design continues in the raised pilot house, which is accessible from both the flybridge and lobby area, and which also features a door to the port side deck. A full sized chart table features alongside an impressive state-of-the-art ‘glass bridge’ housing three 24” screens which form the ship’s control and monitoring system. All machinery within the engine room is located well aft to ensure good acoustic properties with specially silenced exhausts for both main engines and generators.
