Apoise, reported to be the largest and unique megayachts across the globe, will be sold on 30th March 2010 at an absolute public auction in Grand Cayman. The organizers have already started accepting the registration for bid. Apoise has been styled by Expen Oino and constructed by famous Lurssen Yachts. Ranked 89th in Power and Motoryacht magazine’s list of the world’s largest yachts in 2009, it provides the best cruising experience at just below 220 ft.
A very rare occasion, this auction is highly sought after by auctioneers who have plans for a private viewing and sea trial. Apoise will not be sold at low bids and thus will be offered to the highest bidder. All those interested in this occasion should be present at the event or be online in real time at rbauction.com, or should place a proxy bid in advance. To acquire this exceptional opulent megayacht, probable clients need to register on or before March 25th and fulfill all pre-qualification conditions which includes giving a refundable 2,000,000 Euro deposit.
Only those bidders who meet all the requirements will be able to visit Apoise, talk to the entire Apoise crew, analyze documents (consisting of all invoices from the Barcelona and Lurssen shipyard visits and Apoise’s Triton Maintenance Program), study the ship’s bottom and running gear, and cruise in the vessel. A professional or trusted Engineer or Captain might also be sent on the yacht to spend a few days and report on it.
Apoise offers spacious interiors because of it’s the wide beam (43 feet approximately). Moreover, there are multitude large suites and lounge areas available. Since its inauguration in 2006, the yacht has been primarily been used for private cruising only but it is well built to comply with offer commercial standards appropriate for charter.
This megayacht consists of large cabins to house 12 guests, six decks, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a Jacuzzi on the upper deck and lounges. Apoise defines luxury, style and elegance. The designers have paid attention to all the details whether is the graceful baroque furnishings or the luxurious owner’s suite.
The owner’s suite on the main deck resembles that of a five star hotel and has an area of 1399 sq ft. It comprises of a full-beam master bath and a private Jacuzzi. Almost 19 staff can be accommodated in the crew’s cabins.
The megayacht moves at an exceptional speed of 14 knots with support of 190,000-liter fuel capacity. It covers a 5,000 NM range at 12 knots. Besides all the amenities, it has room for several tenders like two 14-person Denship tenders and one 15- and one 8-person Novurania tenders.
