Following her purchase by a new Owner, the lovely 1983 Benetti Sail Division built and Laurent Giles designed 27-metre sailing yacht My Lotty (ex SERENA) is currently undergoing a refit at Doyle Sailmakers in Italy. Recently renamed to sailing yacht ‘My Lotty’, the vessel is due to be completed by mid April, just in time for the Mediterranean charter season.
In the past, ‘My Lotty’ yacht (then Serena) was privately owned and was not available for luxury charters. Now, that the new Owner has taken over, the yacht looks forward to a busy and successful charter season with, what promises to be a beautifully refurbished new interior designed by Giovanna Locatelli.
The photos published in this article show My Lotty’s preliminary design created by her interior designer that will be further developed to satisfy the Owner’s wishes. Particulars that can be seen in bordeaux in her saloon will be realised in lovely brown colour. The floor coverings of all of the common areas, such as the saloon, corridor etc., will be upgraded to solid wood and replace the current moquettes. Moquettes will be used inside the guest cabins only.
Luxury yacht My Lotty’s refit will also entail the upgrade of all technical plants and the yacht will also receive new technology to provide her guests with even better service.
Doyle Sailmakers Italia will polish all the hull and will repaint all of her superstructure. Her deck will also be updated, creating a new sunbathing area. There will be many other additional new features and upgrades to this fabulous new charter yacht – My Lotty, and we will endeavour to keep you updated with the latest information regarding her refit and re-launch; as well as additional information about her charter rates and availability. MY LOTTY will be available for charter in such spectacular destinations as Sicily, Sardinia, the Neapolitan Archipelago (Campano Archipelago), the Pontine Islands and the Ionian Greece.
