Miramar Marines Private Limited based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, South Western India, has been appointed by Sunreef Yachts as its exclusive dealer for India. The agreement between the two companies has already been made.
According to Sunreef, Miramar Marines Private Limited is a dynamic company with an extensive database of potential clientele interested in the yachting lifestyle. The company also pioneers in yacht building also believes that India is a country with a fast growing interest in boating and an increasingly strong economic growth. With over 6,100 km of inland coastline and numerous islands, India seems to be a paradise for yachting and sea expeditions. With the popularity of this leisure activity rapidly spreading all over the country, Sunreef Yachts wants to take active part in this process from the very beginning and become a strong player in the future. Sunreef also believes that Sunreef catamarans will gain lots of interest among local buyers because of their impressive living space, incomparable stability, safety and luxury custom finish all at a very competitive price.
The Mumbai Boat Show in February 2010 will be the first event where Sunreef Yachts will be officially represented by Miramar Marines. As for current deals, the company claims to have potential buyers for the 70 Sunreef Power, a new yacht model launched a year ago by Sunreef.
Apart from India, Sunreef Yachts has an extensive worldwide broker network in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Israel, Qatar, USA, Australia and China, to name but a few.
