Sunrise yachts, the famous superyacht company founded by a German entrepreneur Herbert P. Baum and a French-British yacht-builder Guillaume Roché , unveiled the first superyacht of their new signature series designed by the renowned yacht designer Espen Oeino and interior designer Franck Darnet.

Espen Oeino has already showed their talent in the past with their award winning projects such as Silver, Octopus, Skat, Kismet, Princess Marianna, and many more. The designer has now planned a collaboration with the sunrise yachts to produce average sized yachts in the range of 47 to 65m.

The sunrise yachts are relying on Espen Oeino’s extensive experience and its potential to do out of the box thinking. Moreover the creativity of interior designer Franck Darnet will be an added advantage to bring out the best creative and innovative design. The project team would also include an on-site engineering firm Brilliant Boats, led by Michael Schutte. The first yacht to be launched by the group will be Sunrise 47m, with delivery scheduled in June 2011.

The combine effort of all these people would be focused on designing and innovating layouts with optimum space utilization and features for the guests which allow them to enjoy the sea at its best. The design would also feature huge areas made up of only glass in order to facilitate panoramic view and fill the interiors with natural light. Moreover, it would also feature skylights, opening balconies, a central architectural spiral staircase and separate functions for each deck.

Sunrise 47 will come in two main basic configurations. One configuration would feature four spacious guest cabins on the main deck with wide ocean views, while the full beam master suite would have three huge floor to ceiling bay windows. These windows would provide a feel of standing on water, while the natural light from the skylights will give a natural atmospheric feel.

The second configuration would feature an owner’s suite, which would occupy all of the upper deck, thus leaving a vast space for a semi open saloon and entertainment area.

The yachts would be marketed by Camper & Nicholsons, under the supervision of Michael Payne from the Monaco office and the first three yachts would be of the sizes – 52m, 57m and 65m.
