Superyacht Silver Shalis (tentative name) is the latest innovation from Delta Yachts and is built to have an all aluminum hull and superstructure. This 53m superyacht is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 Diesels engines to reach speeds of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The superyacth has engines with 2,100 rpm at 3,650 hp, and Quantum QC 1800 Zero Speed Stabilizers. It can cover a distance of 3000 nautical miles at 12 knots and is also equipped with a fuel tank to carry 14,000 gallons, and a 2,000 gallon fresh water holding tank. Thus, for longer distances, Silver Shalis is the best yacht to be opted. There is too much of secrecy around the project and so all the details are not yet known. Presently it is also termed as Project 175038.

Silver Shalis is a semi displacement yacht with an all composite body. This adds to the slender and attractive profile of the yacht which has two Northern Lights 99 Kilowatt generators to provide the extra electrical requirements of the ship. At half load, Silver Shalis, will specifically have a draft of seven and a half feet, and a displacement of 335 tons.

The builders of Silver Shalis, formerly known as Project 175038, strived to incorporate an Asian motivated interior with a unique style and design. Currently, the yacht was reported to be traveling around the around the harbor in Seattle Washington while flaunting its new duck egg blue paint. It was accompanied by similar other luxury superyachts such as the Northcoast 125. Stringent measures, supervision and sea trials were also conducted before the super yacht was delivered to its owner this year.

However, speaking of its characteristics, the yacht features minimalist designs for its interiors to highlight its furniture. It follows a unique blend of textures, tone and elegance, with natural fibers, the highest quality leather, and other lavish textiles which meets the every day living requirements so that the owners can travel longer distances. One will find straight wood grains and a mix of Zen earth tones with monochromatic colors. Jonathan Quinn Barnett has styled the interiors and Langan Design Associates have designed the exteriors.

Delta Yachts established close to Boeing Field near the Seattle-Tacoma airport in Seattle Washington is famous for yachts such as the Gan Finale, Katya, and Mr. Terrible. This 18 acre shipyard is not only involved in construction but also in renovation and refitting of superyachts making it one of the most popular companies in the United States.
